Adobe has introduced updates to Acrobat that enhance how organisations use the AI Assistant and work across multiple documents.
To continue accessing these features without interruption, not-for-profits using Acrobat will need to complete a couple of simple updates by 31 May 2026.

The updated AI Assistant now provides:
- More accurate responses with clearer attribution
- Support across multiple languages
- In-chat chart generation to help visualise information
Multi-document workflows moving to PDF Spaces
Adobe is transitioning multi-document functionality into PDF Spaces, a new environment designed to make working across files faster and more intuitive.
With PDF Spaces, your team can:
- Chat across multiple documents in one place
- Analyse information more quickly
- Save notes and organise insights
- Share and publish findings
- Create custom assistants tailored to your needs
What your organisation needs to do
To avoid disruption and ensure continued access to these features, we recommend completing the following steps before 31 May 2026:
- Update Acrobat to the latest version
- Web users: No action required if using acrobat.adobe.com
- Desktop: Version 25.001.21288 or later
- Android: Version 26.2.0.43379 or later
- iOS: Version 26.02.50 or later
- Enable PDF Services in the Admin Console
This is required to access PDF Spaces and its multi-document capabilities.
